2018 Grant Partner - Field Academy
The Field Academy received an Invoking The Pause grant to convene a “jam” with their educational community from across the United States. This jam will be the culminating experience in a series of explorations (via digital alumni gatherings, workshops, and self-initiated local conversations) that engage the question “What is the education that we need to meet this political, social, and ecological moment?” The goals of this “jam” retreat will be to: a) engage this learning community in a heart-centered and connective reflection about the role of education and specifically with the Field Academy at this moment; b) open a broader inquiry into the personal, interpersonal, and systemic aspects of education for climate justice and collective liberation within the context of this climate crisis.
