2018 Grant Partner - Field Academy


The Field Academy received an Invoking The Pause grant to convene a “jam†with their educational community from across the United States. This jam will be the culminating experience in a series of explorations (via digital alumni gatherings, workshops, and self-initiated local conversations) that engage the question “What is the education that we need to meet this political, social, and ecological moment?†The goals of this “jam†retreat will be to: a) engage this learning community in a heart-centered and connective reflection about the role of education and specifically with the Field Academy at this moment; b) open a broader inquiry into the personal, interpersonal, and systemic aspects of education for climate justice and collective liberation within the context of this climate crisis.
